Birth Doula
As a trained professional, a birth doula offers continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to their client before, during, and shortly after childbirth. This role aims to create a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience for the client. They do not offer medical care or perform clinical tasks, such as vaginal examinations or fetal heart monitoring. Instead, their focus is on the well-being of the birthing person and providing support through the emotional and physical journey of childbirth.
